My Goals For 2018

Happy New Year everyone!

I am so happy I actually achieved the majority of my goals for 2017. I passed my driving test *yay*, I read 14 and a half new books and I even stepped out of my comfort zone a few times. I didnt check everything off of my list of goals but I am quite happy with how my year went. You can see my goals for 2017 here. Some of my goals I didnt achieve last year is going to be added to my list for 2018 and of course I have some new ones alongside the cliche drinking more water and eating healthier and cleaner, etc.

Drive more
My first goal is to drive more especially on my own. I have still yet to drive anywhere on my own even though I passed my test on November 1st of last year and thats mainly because Im always with someone and I haven't had the chance to do it because Ive been so ill and driving a manual car is hard work when you have chronic pain and fatigue. The longer Im leaving it though the more Im overthinking it so I just need to bite the bullet and start going out in the car on my own.

Work on my blog photography
Im the first to admit Im not a photographer and Im not great at taking photos. When I put a lot of effort into it and I have enough time my photography is good. There are some photos on my blog that I am super proud of and then theres some I just hate and cant believe I uploaded but oh well! I'd really like to spend more time learning how to use the different settings on my camera and find what kind of lighting and styles work for me.

Post consistently on my blog
I was pretty good at posting on here consistently in my first year of blogging but then it all went down hill in my second year. This year I really would love to try and post frequently so Im going to put a lot of energy and time into blogging. I already have the next month of post ideas lined up its just committing to posting and actually being organised thats my issue.

Read 15 books
This has been one of my new years resolutions/goals for the past 3 or 4 years. Im a massive book worm and I think everyone should take time out to read a good book but when I did my GCSE's and A Levels I sort of fell out of love with reading so its been my mission since to start spending time to read again. Like I said in the beginning of this post, in 2017 I managed to read 14.5 books (I didnt quite finish the last one in time) so I have gotten very close to reaching my goal and this year I am 100% adamant in completing it. I have a list on my phone of 15 books I want to read and Ive already started my first one.

Get my first tattoo
This was my goal last year but I never got around to doing it mainly because I didnt have anyone who would come with me to get it done and I do have a tendency to pass out especially when theres needles involved. But Ive wanted tattoos for years now and its about time I actually grew some lady-balls and booked an appointment. I am still kinda undecided about which tattoo I would like done first (I have a few planned out) but it will probably be a little elephant on the inside of my ankle. If you've ever had a tattoo before please let me know how your experience was and what you had done.

Go on holiday
I love going on holiday- who doesnt?! I didn't go on a foreign holiday in 2017 and Im not someone who goes away every year but it would be lovely to be able to. This year though we have decided as a family that its time for a holiday abroad. We don't have a clue whereabouts we would like to go but it will probably be Southern Spain or one of the Balearic Islands for a week or so. I am suck a lover of the heat and sunny weather so I am very very excited to book a holiday and start counting down the days until we go.

Be more independant
Although I am someone who had to grow up quite quickly I am not very independent at all. And by that I mean I wont go to the doctors on my own or go out by myself but thats all because I used to suffer really badly with anxiety so my mum would take me everywhere and now I have a lot of chronic health issues so sometimes I am unable to do things myself, Im sure most of you spoonies will understand how it is. So when I am feeling well enough I want to start being more independent and that sort of goes hand in hand with my first goal of driving more.

What kind of goals do you have for 2018? I hope everyones 2018 is filled with lots of more love, good health and lots of laughter.
