Another Lush Haul

I have never ordered from Lush but I was out of my beloved shampoo bar and I needed a new face scrub so as a little treat to myself I bought a couple of new things. I usually go into the shop so I can see and smell the products but I haven't been well enough to go out shopping so thank goodness for online shopping! Can we just take a moment to appreciate the packaging and the fact that the packing peanuts are biodegradable. YAY!

'Ocean Salt' face and body scrub
I have been out of my face scrub for weeks now and my skin has not been happy about it. Before I used to use the St Ives face scrub but its not cruelty free so I wasn't going to repurchase it. This scrub is a face and body one made from fine sea salt, lime oil, grapefruit and coconut oil. The lime oil tones and brightens the skin while the sea salt gently exfoliates and gets rid of any dry skin and it smells delicious. I bought the alcohol free version because alcohol can be very drying and Ive been suffering with very dry skin this winter so I've been doing everything to keep my skin hydrated.

'Honey I Washed My Hair' shampoo bar
When I first tried a shampoo bar from Lush a couple of years ago this is the one I chose. I love the convenience of a shampoo bar and the fact that it has zero packaging because I am trying to live a more zero waste life. Usually, I buy the 'New' shampoo bar because it makes my hair grow super fast but I fancied a change and the smell of cinnamon was turning on me. I know before anyone says that this shampoo bar has honey in it and I am vegan but Im ok with using a little bit of honey occasionally.

'Twilight' bath bomb
OMG this bath bomb smells amazing! This is definitely my favourite bath bomb from Lush and I always go back to it. I picked one up this time because soon I'll be having a new bathroom and my dads replacing my bath with a shower so I want to make the most of my bath before its gone. This bath bomb is great if you are stressed or if you take baths at night because its lavender scented and its so calming and soothing. It starts off as a pretty pastel pink and blue and as it gently fizzes it turns your bath water to a beautiful, shimmery deep purple. Its beautiful!

'No Drought' dry shampoo
Ive wanted to try this dry shampoo out for years now. I use dry shampoo almost everyday because I am cursed with greasy hair and usually I just stick to the Batiste dry shampoo but I've gotten a bit bored of it now. I bought this one because I know powdered dry shampoos are really good if you do have really oily hair and it smells yummy. I ordered the smaller bottle so I can test it out before spending money on a big one. I cant wait to try this out and I will definitely share what I think of it.

Have you tried any of these Lush products before?

  2. I love Lush! I've been eyeing the Ocean Salt scrub, but I haven't tried it yet. I love their shampoo bars, especially since they reduce waste! I normally use the Jason and the Argan Oil one!
