I'm back!



After taking many months off from blogging, I've decided to restart my blog and start writing again. I definitely needed a break from it and I needed to find some inspiration and motivation again. It's been a long long time since I actually enjoyed blogging and this break has made me excited to write again. 

Right now is a very difficult time and any distraction is a good distraction if you ask me. Maybe your distraction is cooking, baking, reading, watching Netflix or listening to music, ALL distractions are great. We all need to do more things that make us happy and keep our morale up. 

It's been a very intense time with a lot of self reflection in my life. I don't think I've ever journalled as much (which I highly recommend BTW) and I've learnt a lot about myself and what I want in life once this nightmare is over. I've realised what I need to work on and what I want to spend my time doing in the future. 

I've been spending a lot of time outside in my garden, cooking and listening to music. I've also just finished watching "Normal People" which is an absolute must watch in my opinion. I haven't been hooked on a show like that for a very long time. I just wanted to watch it non-stop and I'm even going to rewatch as soon as we have a rainy day. I've also been cooking a lot. We all take turns in my house to cook and we've been trying to test out some new recipes to keep things interesting. 


I made an amazing granola with coconut flakes, nuts and seeds yesterday from Ellen Fisher's EBOOK and the day before I made a delicious chickpea curry I found on Pinterest. Im really into cooking right now and I may even do a few food posts in the future, who knows?
