Finding Inspiration To Blog Again

I haven't blogged consistently for a few years now. When I first started my blog, I was soo motivated and I wrote almost every day. I even did blogmas once and I spent every free moment reading other blogs. But over the years I just lost the motivation and I found it hard to find inspiration to blog. Since lockdown, I've tried spending more time working on my blog and reading other blogs. I've still been finding it hard to find inspiration and motivation though.

When I started this blog it was called 'BeautyLifeBecca' and I wrote about beauty and lifestyle. As time went on, I slowly started to lose interest in makeup and beauty and but that was my most successful posts I would write so I kept writing them. Then I got frustrated and eventually got really uninspired and fell out of love with blogging. Since then I've had a love-hate relationship with blogging. I spent too much time writing what I thought other people wanted to see and then I ended up resenting blogging. Now I understand that I need to blog about things that I am passionate about, that make me happy and about important things in my life like my chronic illness. I'm also not the greatest at taking photos so sometimes I wouldn't publish a post because I didn't have a good enough photo to add to it. Now I'm trying not to worry too much about how my photos look and just post whatever I like best.

I want to write more about my chronic illness because those are the posts I read the most and about lifestyle and some beauty thrown in too. It is disheartening though because I've lost a lot of readers over the years from being inconsistent and since I've switched up what I write about but at the end of the day, I blog because I like it. It gives me something to focus on and put energy into while having a chronic illness. Blogging was something I never used to talk to people in my personal life about but now it's something I'm proud of. Am I the greatest blogger? Definitely not. Sometimes I just ramble and I'll reread the post a few months later on and think to myself "what on earth was I talking about?!"

So, what can you expect to see on my blog now? I have a few chronic illness diary posts coming up and some skincare posts. I'm really into skincare at the moment and I've been spending most of my time researching skincare products, the best ingredients and different tips. I've been binging Hyrams skincare videos on youtube and tiktok so I've learnt a lot about different skincare products to use and what to avoid.
As for my chronic illness posts I will be writing a lot about Fibromyalgia as I've been having a lot of flare-ups in the last couple of weeks and each time I have a flare-up I learn more and more about my pain like how to handle and treat it best.

I'm excited to post again and focus on this blog. Please leave any blog requests if you have any, I'm always open to suggestions.
